Have You Heard?
Everyday, more and more people experience back pain and decide that it’s a life sentence.
It’s just a part of ‘growing older’ or ‘working a desk job.’
But by writing it off or ignoring it, we’re compromising on a long and healthy life, that isn’t weighed down by chronic pain and health problems.

~ Vania Apkarian,
Chronic back pain affects so much more than just your posture.
In fact, low back pain which can be associated with postural weakness and distortion may cause a global whole body effect on your ability to function and move well.
Studies have shown that a person with chronic low back pain had 5–11% less neocortical grey
matter (brain tissue) on MRI scans.
For reference 5-11% less neocortical grey matter is equivalent to 10 to 20 years of normal aging. Wow!
This means that low back pain can actually cause your brain to shrink and contribute to premature aging…
If you don’t move your muscles, your body will adapt.
If you don’t prioritize your posture, your body will adapt.
If you don’t take care of your bones, your body will adapt.
Back Pain is just the beginning of the many complications you can face by neglecting your body’s pleas for help.
But here’s the thing about adapting.
It works both ways.
If you sit, stand, and move correctly, your body will adapt to this too and reward you with better health, strength, and energy.
